NOSY NANCY OPT IN/OUT

Thomas Jopson's worst trait here in Duplicity is that he's a busybody, so the plan is as follows:

Jopson will be reading most if not all the public network posts, and retaining certain details to memory. He's no gossip, but he likes to know what's going on at all times. I will be taking notes, and every month I will go through the notes I have and only keep the ones I think he'll retain for longer than that period.

This will only apply to PUBLICLY POSTED NETWORK INFORMATION, and he'll sooner forget information about people he doesn't know than those he does. I will also be posting HERE, monthly, for any gossip he might hear around, either working at The Hospital, Plumage, or around the Up.

This is an opportunity for you to share deets and fun information you want known! He may do nothing with all the information he gathers, but occasion might come for it all to be useful. Who knows! That's the joy of RP.

Ho ho, well, it's reasonably tidy, or at least the paperwork is confined to colour coded bins. He has a picture of the Doctor up, because of course he does.

He is a good worker! Does his hours, doesn't gripe about weird schedules, and is always, always respectful towards the nurses. There are some things that are multiversal standards and that is one of them. He is also a sap when it comes to people and their kids doing fundraisers, so he usually ends up buying a box of whatever, poinsettia, etc.

Bash is wholly in earnest, and not shy about using minor powers like lighting a cigarette with a snap, or stepping through shadows to avoid a gang.

Ducky, meanwhile, is also a sneaky bastard taking notes on everything under her sweet time-displaced housemaid demeanor.

Thank you! Is there anything obvious about them that he might notice if he ran into either of them in person?

In terms of obvious outward appearance:

Tim Stoker: Talks with a British accent. He's from modern day London. He also has small, but noticeable scars around his face, hands, and arms from when he survived an attack by worms. They look roughly something like this or this. Someone in his canon says that while noticeable he can pull them off.

Vash the Stampede: Speaks in a mostly "American" accent, but he's not actually from Earth so he wouldn't call it that. His hair is two colours. Mostly blond with some black towards the back of his head. He doesn't dye it this way, it is how it naturally grows. He also always wears this version of his red coat at all times unless the city forces him to wear something else. That includes always wearing gloves and tick boots. The only part usually visible on Vash is his neck, face, his right thumb and right index finger. Otherwise the rest of him is covered up.

Go back on any dom/sub finder and Thomas can figure out why he might do that. He's hiding the fact that he is completely covered in scars. (Reference art has Vash in his underwear and attaching his prosthetic arm.) His left arm is also a prosthetic that was replaced by a Tony Stark when we had one in game so it's a pretty good one! Vash's real fingers on his right arm will be heavily calloused as he is an expert marksman and uses guns frequently.

These are the things I can think of off the top of my head! If I think of anymore I'll try to come back to add it or throw it into our threads!

- At the Haven Ball, Ducky danced quite salaciously with Jack Rackham, and seemed to be holding a conversation with him as they did so. (He wasn't the only one, but I figure that'd stick in Jopson's head more than her waltz with her Dominant.)
- In addition, though she originally made the offer to cook in order to help her find a Dominant, she's regularly shopping for groceries to cook for them still, despite having a contract in place.
- Feel free to have made note of her auction wins as well, if you want: the one-time service to scare someone magically by Dorian Pavus, and a 100% customizable dream for herself or someone else, by Belial
- Speaking of auctions, she was purchased at the Shadow Ball auction by Trilla Suduri, who then proceeded to spank her.

- Despite having a contract already, Bash has been spending quite a bit of time with Jeff Calhoun, an uncontracted submissive, even showing up at a bar to drag him off after a bit of a bender.
- The conversation on his Dom Finder entry revolved around the legitimacy of sadism and sexual torment.
- There was also an comment in that same finder entry about his 'divine blood'. So the city believes him to be legit enough!
- He was wearing a gown and smoky eye makeup at the ball, and looked damned good in them.

Opting in! Jeff probably hasn't done much of note (especially on the network), but he does live on the same floor as Hickey, so that could put him on Jopson's nosy nancy radar.

Details that could be easily gleaned from the network: he's a musician, a witch (he alternates between saying bard, Gifted, and witch), very adamant that he's not going to get trapped in a contract (somehow), thinks the Up is a garbage police state and prefers the anarchy in the Down, and had his nudes leaked by the Chevalier (and didn't seem that upset by it).

Details that can be gleaned from observation: he commits petty crimes in the Down, is possibly affiliated with the Swallows, and is often intoxicated on some substance or another.

Actually, while Jopson was doing his recent due diligence on Steven, he may have seen some recent drama on the Finders regarding his breakup with his boyfriend/submissive. The main source of it is here, where he and someone else get into a tiff with a lawyer claiming to represent his sub.
